Graffiti's script part 2
I went to Rob van Tol's blog and did the personality test.
My results were
Paranoid personality : Low
Schizoidpersonality : Moderate
Schizotypal personality : Low
Antisocial personality : Moderate
Borderline personality : Low
Histrionic personality : Low
Narcissistic personality : Moderate
Avoidant personality : Low
Dependent personality : Low
Obsessive-Compulsive personality : Low
So it seems I am a narcissistic Snorky with an antisocial Marvin.

Dare I meddle with such a test?
Hmmm...
Posted by: Lynn | Friday, 28 September 2007
Seems I'm paranoid, avoidant, obsessive and anti-social. I already knew about it though, so no big shock there. I'm moody, too, so I bet the results would be different if I took it later. Besides, there's probably something wrong with the test because the score for 'histrionic' was 'low'. I know a couple of people who would probably laugh out loud if they could see that!
Tony, I'm still smiling about your cuddly characters from the last post.
:-)

I'm low on everything but Histronic. That does sum me up except I don't lie about illnesses!
Posted by: vi | Friday, 28 September 2007
According to this, I am moderately narcissistic and histrionic which I find hilarious. Everything else was low. Afraid I don't believe it.
Posted by: Madeleine | Friday, 28 September 2007
This is tricky stuff. Gosh anyone could answer the questions any way they want OR like me, most of the time i thought in my head - yes, i think so... no, i don't think so...
But this is what they came up with...
Paraniod - low
Shizoid - low
Shizotypal - moderate
Antisocial - low
Borderline - low
Histrionic - low
Narcissistic - low
Avoidant - low
Dependent - low
O/C - low
Actually you know? That was fun. I'm so glad i'm shizotypal. It's kind of opposite of the other things so that's a tad weird but fun none the less.
Anyone, if they knew what any of the thingys mean, could answer the test trickily. I just clicked the first thing (pretty much) that came to me. If someone else did the quiz and answered the questions on the way i seem to them, i wonder how different it would be? What ever...
This was fun and look, it's Saturday and i get to be on the puter! Don't know about the rest of the weekend though. Gosh i hope you all have a great long week end!
Cheers...

Why not Madeleine? I must admit it is one of the better personality type tests I have come accross on the net.

I've never had a personality test that said I was narcissistic and histrionic. Histrionic I am definitely not. Not sure about the narcissistic.
Posted by: Madeleine | Friday, 28 September 2007
Madeleine?
...Oh it's friday! That's probably why i'm on the puter. It makes the long weekend even longer then - yay! Hope you're having a good one.
Roses
Ps... thanks for the gained day cause it feels as though I may have missed the whole of this year!
Posted by: Roses | Friday, 28 September 2007
Perhaps you are changing now Madeleine or the test is completely bonkers? Years ago I would have been far from the hystrionic grading but somehow that seems more prevelent while other prominent aspects have since diminished. From what I have been taught it would seem that we tend to maintain at least one main personality type through out life.

Kenoath,
You are a Marx Brothers milk shake personality!
Sounds good to me

Lynn hysterics are good value they have so many 'features' you can end up seeing them like they are:
paranoid, avoidant, obsessive and anti-social people all mixed into one.
You are multi dimensional Lynn!!
More parts for your husband to love

Roses:
I'm so glad i'm shizotypal. It's kind of opposite of the other things so that's a tad weird
Yes Roses, Shizotypal are a bit weird and wacky. And yes of course one could fake the test. But if you are going to do that why do it in the first place?.
30 yes/no questions to assess human personality is always only ever going to be a very rough assessment at best

Tony...
Yeah, i suppose...
Roses
Posted by: Roses | Friday, 28 September 2007
How come you're Graffiti to me and Tony to everyone else? Hey?? Hey??
I did answer them honestly. They just asked the wrong questions.
Roses I'm glad I gave you an extra day in your weekend. That's really powerful of me to be able to do that. And no, I'm not having a good weekend. I feel like shite tonight. But hey, I'm a poet !!!

Maybe Madeleine, he thinks there needs to be 2 of him. Just considering his next post and the Narcissistic personality type thing. *giggles* My question is... what's with the sunnies?
Posted by: Roses | Friday, 28 September 2007
Makes him feel like a movie start maybe, Roses?
Posted by: Madeleine | Friday, 28 September 2007
Perhaps he can look and not be found out? I didn't realise that's what people did until i asked them. They actually told me that they like to look at people (guys checking out the chicks and vice versa) I was ... well, there's an awful lot that i just don't know i guess.
Movie star? *giggles* Aww, that's just cute!

You're all so very normal. Doesn't anyone else get "High" scores.
I seem to be Dame Edna's lost love child or something. You're lucky I haven't flounced into a luvvy hissy fit or tricked you all by screwing the results or just pretend that this is really all about me me me!
Oh the delicious permissions for acting out these rubbishy tests offer.
Posted by: Rob van Tol | Friday, 28 September 2007
Glad you affirmed them as rubbish tests Rob.
Having done the test myself (and not liked the result - I got two very highs which obviously show I am a few roos short in the top paddock) and was disconcerted by Kenoaths comment about being one of the better tests he had seen on the internet, I can now breathe a sigh of relief that I am not too much of a nutjob.
Just a partial one like everyone else!
Posted by: kahless | Saturday, 29 September 2007
So Kahless,
What were the two very highs?
Tony
Posted by: Tony | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Dame Edna's lost love child? Too hilarious!
Kahless, you are no nutjob.
Posted by: Lynn | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Nutjobs are ok! Some of the best people I know are nutjobs.
kenoath
Posted by: kenoath | Saturday, 29 September 2007
It is a rubbish test Kahless. Never take these sort of questionnaires seriously. They are usually a load of wank as is this one.
Posted by: Madeleine | Saturday, 29 September 2007
yes they are a bit wanky Madeleine arnt they. Still, when taking them in the fashion they are presented on the net there is no point in getting emotional about it.
kenoath
Posted by: kenoath | Saturday, 29 September 2007
I actually enjoy doing them. They are quite funny. The ones in women's mags are funny too. "What does your man like" that sort of stuff. It's a bit like the morning horoscope, read, listen, and have a giggle.
Posted by: Madeleine | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Having something to do for a chilly Friday night, I realized if one answered "No" to all of the questions, regardless the gender, one would be diagnosed "low" in all personality disorder types. not zero, but low!
Mariam.
Posted by: mariamusic | Saturday, 29 September 2007
So according to this test, every human being has some potential to personality disorders :-). How funny. I can go to a psychiatrist and tell them that I have a histrionic personality disorder AND a narcissistic personality disorder. How kewl !!!!
Posted by: Madeleine | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Yes good point M. I was going to suggest that all low scores might be more of a nutjob worry that not.
kenoath
Posted by: kenoath | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Which "M" you talking to Kenoath ???? I reckon your answer speaks to both M's.
Posted by: Madeleine | Saturday, 29 September 2007
I don't see them as disorders Madeleine, however personality types. Thats where the test falls down I believe. I would not wast my money on a psychiatrist based on internetty tests. M could be for both and I think usually Mariam signs her name as that.
kenoath
Posted by: kenoath | Saturday, 29 September 2007
I'm only as much of a nutjob as i am Ken. Just like everyone else.
Hi Maryam! Gosh it's good to see you. Have a great weekend! Cheers...

Posted by: Roses | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Kenoath they are advertising them as "disorders" which is a bit of a worry for the unsuspecting or vulnerable.
Posted by: Madeleine | Saturday, 29 September 2007
I have never really seen you as the hystrionic type Madeleine even though test seems to say that.
kenoath
Posted by: kenoath | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Oh well I guess the unsuspecting and vulnerable will have to work that out for themselves, The internet is full of anecdotel personality - health evidence.
kenoath
Posted by: kenoath | Saturday, 29 September 2007
No, Kenoath, I definitely do not see myself as the histrionic type hehehe.
Posted by: Madeleine | Saturday, 29 September 2007
What type do you reckon you are Madeleine?
Henry the 8th was a little anti social and hedonistic don't you think?
kenoath
Posted by: kenoath | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Tony,
I retook the the test!
:-)
Where my true answer was sometimes and I had ticked yes previously, I changed them to no's.
That got rid of the very highs.
I then ended up with high borderline and high Schizotypal.
I am low antisocial consistently at least!
Posted by: kahless | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Hi Kahless,
Sounds like a great idea to redo the test.
Like Kenoath and Madeleine say (and I am sure you know) these www tests are far less than reliable.
I was up on antisocial so that is far from desirable, but I think I am a nice antisocial!
Tony
Posted by: Tony | Saturday, 29 September 2007
You are indeed a very nice antisocial!
:-)
Posted by: kahless | Saturday, 29 September 2007
Hi again,
Yes you seem a very social antisocial Tony. I like the script in TA literature. I hope there's a part 4 brewing in your head Tony.
Best wishes
Nick.

Not sure about part 4 Nick. Will wait and see what my FC comes up with in the next few days
The hammers went down alas!!!

Ohh my goodness Rob! I'd not seen it that way before. They do though don't the? They give people permission!
Thank you for saying that. That's the permission thing. We can give ourselves permission but we also keep hopping around to validate the permissions we want to find.
So for someone to feel validated may not always be a good thing huh?
Ohh too scary...
