Are you a superego, ego or an id?

I did the quiz

www.blogthings.com/areyouidegoorsuperegoquiz/

and I got

Me as ego

Superego is like the Parent ego state. You are basically as boring as bat shit.

expectations
This is the Superego person

Ego is like Adult. You are basically dead from the neck down. You live life in your head, think and keep away from your more primal urges.

Id is like the child. You are basically a hedonistic low life who will walk on others to have your primal urges satisfied

Polygamay
Is this guy the Id? 5 wives to be wifely?

I am an Ego but with some Id and thus can act out my desires and have a life of pleasures!!!

Bugger. This is me. The superego. Does this mean my ego is more superior to others hehehe.

While some people may think first and act later... you often don't act at all.
You rather be safe than sorry, and you take ethics pretty seriously.
Like everyone, you have some pretty crazy desires. But unlike everyone, you restrain yourself.
You have high standards for your own behavior. And you happily exceed them.

Some of it very true, some not so true.

Madeleine,

Your not just and Ego you are a SUPER Ego, which means you have to start wearing your under wear on the outside like all other SUPER heros.

Now the mind boggles on that one hehehe. Maybe I should make a miniature superhero !!!

Posted by: Madeleine | Saturday, 20 October 2007

Yes Madeleine,
do that make a mini one.

I wonder what super powers a SUPER ego would have?

Super super powers !!!!

I was just checking out BlogSpirit and found your blog.

Not exactly what I was expecting from the name "Graffiti" but I really enjoy it nonetheless.

I'll be back for more insight.

Apparently, I am also an ego. I guess those targeted assasination in the superego have helped. My ego must be bigger than I thought to have made any impact at all on a beast that size.

Hey, I am in real good company cos I am an ego too.
Glad I am not as boring as bat shit; dead from the neck down sounds better.
:-)

Hi Britchick, I love your comment.

I wonder how many search your blog Graf and are surprised by what they find?
Do you keep blog stats on traffic? Surely a narcisstic ego does? (have I spelt that right)
:-)

I'm not sure I'm happy with being as boring as batshit :-). Not even sure that I want to be dead from the neck down. Sex would be pretty boring !!!

I am none of them! Because I didn't do the test. Silly little test it is too. I like to comment here on Graffiti's blog though.

We understand Kenoath,

You did do the test but did not like the result so you are making out that you didn't do it.

Who wouldn't if the only three possible results are that you are either:

Boring as batshit
Dead from the neck down or
A lowlife!!

Hi Lynn,

a robust ego sounds good, maybe its time to come off down the fence

Hello BritChick,
Good to hear your comment and glad you liked the blog

Cheers

I guess you will never really know Graffiti. It is a silly little test though. The best personality "test" or outline for personality I know is the MMPi or a visit to a good Astrologer. If I was to pick one of the results to the test, I would prefer to be a low life hedonist.

Hello Kahless,

Back from the USSR I see!!! How is the KGB going?

Blogspirit automatically keeps statistics and tells you them each time you log on weather you like it or not.

So its not my narcissism showing but I'm not arguing about it either.

In the last couple of months I am averaging between 100 and 300 visits per day. One needs to be careful with that though (as we know stats can tell us porky pies can't they!!)

If I write a post and use some choice slang words about the male and female genitals such as c**t, C**k, P***y then my visits will dramatically increase. I assume that is because of the huge numbers of people trawling the web for porno sites. When searching they arrive at my blog stay 20 seconds and leave unsatisfied!!! But it does notch up a visit on the stat counter.

However i am getting anywhere between 500 and 1500 pages viewed per day. Now I am not exactly sure what the definition of a page is but it does seem to indicate that at least some of those who visit my blog spend a good deal of time looking around it.

I do know that many of my clients, collegues and trainees read this blog as I get a lot of back channel comments about various matters on it.

Tony

Why do they "backchannel" you Graffiti, why don't they post comments and queries on the blog? I am sure these trainees, colleages and clients have some really good things to say here.

Oh well such is life

kenoath

I like that Kenoath,

"Such is life"

Was it Ned Kelly who is noted for saying that many years ago and why our friend Benny got it taottooed onto his stomach?

I am not sure why they do not post their comments Kenoath, I haven't actually asked and they haven't actually said.

As I have said before my original purpose in blogging is that It gave me a forum to experiement and develop ideas whilst at the same time putting it on the www. Then I collate them and put them on my website as more formalized statements about what ever they were talking about.

C'est la vie!!

Graffiti

That reply sounds quite the 'ego' in you Graffiti, well according to the test anyway. I wonder if Benny's tattoo motto/belief will stop him from suing the authorities? At least we have another exciting drama being played out on the media at the moment.

I'm not really on the fence much anymore lately, Tony. I sent you an invitation to the meadow.

Posted by: Lynn | Sunday, 21 October 2007

Yes it appears that I got safely back; I have posted some photo's on my blog of my trip if anyone wants to take a peek. I am hoping people will enjoy them.

I remember when you linked me from your blog then my stats went up.

Not that I know any of your Clients, Colleagues or Trainees, so it may not be the case, but I think sometimes we forget how hard it can be to leave comment on some sites for some people, because of worry of looking stupid, or being ignored. I remember blurking around your sites for ages Tony before I actually left a comment. There are some other sites I visit that I dont leave comment on.

Posted by: Kahless | Sunday, 21 October 2007

That is good news Lynn, about the fence and all

Tony

Posted by: Tony | Sunday, 21 October 2007

I have gone and seen some photos on your blog Kahless. They are good. I like the one of Lenin, he just looks so peaceful and un-revolution like.

I like that word, "Blurking"

Is it a particular type of Lurking?

Tony

Posted by: Tony | Sunday, 21 October 2007

It is a cool term Tony - I saw it a while ago.
blurking = Blog lurking
I think just reading a blog and not commenting.

Posted by: kahless | Sunday, 21 October 2007

Umm, Tony...

"While some people may think first and act later... you often don't act at all.

I did it too! They don't know me very well do they? *giggles*

It is as hot as hot over here right now. Just came back from supervising the HSC and even in the big basket ball stadium, it was a tad sweaty! Isn't it nice how we forget how full on the seasons are? Just as well I suppose...
